About me
Hi, I’m Lin.
I’m a film student and photographer at the University of Amsterdam.
I believe everyone and everything has something to tell, something to show to the world out there. I try to focus on those things that often go unnoticed.
Sometimes, my pictures can be nonsensical, but I think that is alright.
Life does not make sense anyways (thanks, Albert Camus!)
linographs is my creative archive: a space for my films, my photos, and my thoughts. I believe art doesn’t need to be loud to speak clearly, or maybe they do, you are probably not reading this far either way.
Creativity
I try to make meaningful images.

My work is an attempt to stay close to the things I don’t yet understand. Maybe I will never understand. But it is nice to embrace the strange. To trace emotion. To trace distance, and trace presence without explaining them.
Looking Ahead
What am I going to do with this website? I’m building linographs as both a portfolio and a process — a space where I can simultaneously share finished works and works in progress.
Eventually I will see how it all turns out in a long enough time span. Assuming I have not ended up working at a fast food restaurant.
